As our name states, YOUR optimal wellness is our top priority. We have many services here that support just that.

Chiropractic Care

More often than not, when we tell someone that we are a chiropractic office, they immediately associate our vocation with neck and/or back pain. They usually say, “I used to go to a chiropractor when I threw my back out,” but what they do not realize is that chiropractic is a health care modality that provides significantly more than just a solution for pain. Chiropractic is a lifestyle that involves all aspects of wellness including exercise, nutrition, personal development, stress relief, etc. We have been fortunate to work with people from all walks of life (including newborns, children, and adolescents) and the outcome has been miraculous.

Children, who were diagnosed with colic or about to have tubes placed in their ears, were able to find a solution that actually lasted for a lifetime by means of the chiropractic adjustment. When visiting our practice, we take the chiropractic lifestyle to a level where it becomes REAL for you. Not only do we offer the adjustment, but we combine these programs with tips on fitness, nutrition, and stress relief. We take into account your entire body and the lifestyle choices that you make when developing customized protocols for you to follow. Read more…

Massage Therapy

WOW has 5 massage therapists who work with the doctors to provide optimal results. Each practitioner specializes in a different modality, the Doctor will recommend the most appropriate choice.

What exactly are the benefits of receiving massage or bodywork treatments?

Useful for all of the conditions listed below and more, massage can:

  • Alleviate low-back pain and improve range of motion.
  • Assist with shorter, easier labor for expectant mothers and shorten maternity hospital
    stays.
  • Ease medication dependence.
  • Enhance immunity by stimulating lymph flow—the body’s natural defense system.
  • Exercise and stretch weak, tight, or atrophied muscles.
  • Help athletes of any level prepare for, and recover from, strenuous workouts.
  • Improve the condition of the body’s largest organ—the skin.
  • Increase joint flexibility.
  • Lessen depression and anxiety.
  • Promote tissue regeneration, reducing scar tissue and stretch marks.
  • Pump oxygen and nutrients into tissues and vital organs, improving circulation.
  • Reduce post surgery adhesions and swelling.
  • Reduce spasms and cramping.
  • Relax and soften injured, tired, and overused muscles.
  • Release endorphins—amino acids that work as the body’s natural painkiller.
  • Relieve migraine pain.

There’s no denying the power of bodywork. Regardless of the adjectives we assign to it (pampering, rejuvenating, therapeutic) or the reasons we seek it out (a luxurious treat, stress relief, pain management), massage therapy can be a powerful ally in your healthcare regimen. Read more…

Exercise and Movement Therapy

People who suffer from back pain are encouraged to help with their own recovery by exercising and getting physical therapy, but are seldom given the knowledge and tools needed to accomplish this.

At WOW, we will provide a basic understanding of the causes of lower back pain, and discuss appropriate steps to exercise and rehabilitate a painful back.

Of course, getting better is only the beginning, since further episodes of back pain are quite common as time passes.

Whether suffering from the first bout of low back pain or following extensive treatments or even surgery, the best way for patients to avoid or minimize the severity of recurrences is to rehabilitate the back through appropriate back exercises. Our doctors know when it’s time to incorporate exercise and rehabilitative therapy into your healthcare regime.

We are committed to helping you achieve optimal wellness in all areas of your life! Contact us to schedule a consultation or schedule an appointment.
