OK, the holidays are over, the tree is down and the wrapping all recycled.

Now it is time for a fresh start. January is a wonderful “clean up your act” month. It is time to set some health goals for 2019.

The holiday season has three major stresses:

  1. Emotional (no matter how wonderful your family and friends are- fish and company both stink after 3 days);
  2. Physical (getting those boxes out of the attic; cutting down that tree; missing sleep and exercise) and
  3. Chemical (more sugar and alcohol).

I always think of goals as a road map for where you want to go. If your destination is California, you don’t want to head east.

The best way to achieve goals is to have clear action steps and a coach to keep you on track.

We hire a practice coach who focuses us on our healing goals for you.

On your next visit, we will develop with you your health goals for this year. Together we will develop action steps with attainable targets and dates.

Start thinking now what you want to achieve. Is it improved sleep, improved cardiovascular health, lose some weight, decrease stress?

Let’s pick the top 2 or 3 and get started.

I look forward to seeing you this month, so we can get you off on the right start!
