Our Patient Appreciation Day was a great success!

We partnered with Local Matters, a Columbus organization that is building healthy communities by transforming the food system through education and increased access to healthful, affordable and sustainable food, while inspiring individuals to consider the role of food in their lives.

It began with a yoga class that all the participants enjoyed and we are excited that the teacher was so impressed by our mission and our facility that she is becoming a member. Maybe we will start offering yoga classes again.

Laura Helland, head chef of Local Matters, did cooking and tasting demos. The food was delicious, healthy and quick. Their nutritionist was on hand to answer questions and offered great suggestions. For all our gardening folk, organic gardening and composting suggestions were beneficial.

Working with Amanda Hemans at Local Matters was a joy. Their contribution to our community to promote health, fun and self sufficiency is one that is easy for us to support.

With over 120 participants, the day was so fun and will be repeated.

It was a wonderful to see old friends return to the fold and new practice members truly understand our mission of creating a healthier happier community.
