Dr. K.J. Shannan
Dr. Shannan who many of you know and love, joined us in 2001.
I had hired another associate who turned out to be not at all who I wanted to serve our patients. I was beginning to panic because we had already begun the new building and knew I could not handle it by myself. I had been listening to some inspirational tapes by Wayne Dyer and his suggestion for every issue was to meditate. Thus, panic began my meditation journey.
In my meditation Dr. Shannon’s name came typed across my consciousness. I had known Dr. Shannan years before when we took our state boards together but hadn’t seen him in many years.
Wow, direct inspiration from above!! I nearly dismissed it because he was living in South Carolina with his three boys. But I listened.
When I contacted him, he told me he would love to practice with me but was divorced and couldn’t leave his kids.
The next morning he called saying his ex-wife loved the idea of moving back to Columbus for herself and the boys but would have to find a job. That day she was laid off from her job, came to Columbus and had a new job here within a week.
Yes miracles do happen.
Dr. Katie Klein
Our wonderful Dr. Klein joined us in October of 2015.
After Dr. Bennett left us to get married (how could she?), we developed a list of criteria for our next associate. We are picky.
We have the most wonderful patients, staff and community and couldn’t let them down. So we interviewed and interviewed and interviewed.
Just as we were about to make an offer I received an e-mail from Dr. Klein and was impressed. She interviewed with Dr. Shannan and the staff while I was on vacation and it was unanimous – they all loved her.
