There are two huge billboards on Rt. 315 by Ohio Health saying they only do spinal surgery when necessary.
Their idea of necessary and mine are very different.
A study was recently done by medical doctors at multiple universities. The study found that after an injury patients who saw a chiropractor first needed spinal surgery 1.4% of the time.
Patients who saw a medical doctor first needed surgery 42.7% of the time. Conditions were controlled and balanced for severity and other factors.
I want to put a billboard right below the ones on 315 saying:
If you see a chiropractor first you are 2800% less likely to need surgery.
Think this might STOP THE INSANITY?? Unfortunately I think Riverside Hospital owns the billboard.
