Here at Worthington Chiropractic, we have 3 full time Chiropractors on staff, and as you may know, each doctor has one day off per week.
I saw one of Dr. Shannan’s patients this week while he was off. After the adjustment the patient asked if she could tell me her daughter’s story and why she was a relatively new patient here at WOW.
This woman’s 14 year old daughter had daily migraines since second grade. She had been on medications for years with no help.
Her neighbor had encouraged this woman to bring her daughter in to see us at WOW for a chiropractic adjustment and consult, but her daughter’s pediatrician and neurologist said no.
Several weeks ago the doctors decided to put her daughter on an anti-depressant and that was the final straw.
She decided to come in and have her daughter checked out and then have an adjustment.
She went on to tell me that after her daughter’s first adjustment, the young girl came up off the table and said “Mom, my head doesn’t hurt”.
Since that first adjustment she has continued to improve dramatically and the whole family are now patients.
These miracles are why what we do here is never a job to us, but a true calling.
We are always so grateful for the wonderful results we see with patients, however, we wish the family doctors and neurologists would look at the research and learn more about what we do.
If we can ever help with educating your doctor or a friend or family member, ask us.
I don’t want one more second grader to suffer.
