Sports chiropractic is used by both amateur and professional athletes worldwide.
Athletes subject their bodies to strenuous exercise that can lead to bodily aches, pains, and often injury. Sports activities can create spinal misalignments causing problems in your body’s natural biomechanics. Chiropractic care and massage therapy can be beneficial to athletes of all ages.

What does sports chiropractic care involve?
Chiropractors can help athletes recover from injuries, prevent further damage and recover faster. Small issues can create larger functional problems when stressed by repetitive movements such as when you are playing a sport. Common areas that we often treat include the neck, back, knee, hip, shoulder, and feet.
We work with these patients to:
- Relieve and prevent pain
- Recover faster from intense training or game
- Heal quicker from injuries and avoid pain medications
- Prevent injuries in the future
- Restore joint alignment
- Increase flexibility and range of motion
- Improve balance and posture
We work with athletes to get them safely back to a normal training schedule and peak performance as soon as possible.
We help athletes to reach optimal function. When subjected to the stress of the game, it is important to remain in alignment and have your body functioning at it’s best. Patients include golfers, runners, cyclists, as well as, gymnasts, baseball, football, lacrosse, field hockey, tennis, soccer, hockey, and basketball players.
Chiropractic care should be used as part of any athlete’s routine to keep them in top condition. This includes analyzing movements of the body and joints to identify restrictions and discover where the body’s mechanics can be improved.
